These E.D. ads need to STOP. It's perverted & degrading. & 1150 normally is a good radio station. But it's pathetic when a good station will stoop so low & do anything for money 💰. also SHAME on JOHN & KEN & KFI (640am Los Angeles) for their EXCESSIVE BODY-SHAMING COMMERCIALS...these 2 guys spend a lot of time every day shaming various politicians and criminals of every sort, for actual crimes or ethical issues, but yet they, themselves, daily air ads using their own voices that try to sell products based on shaming people for "bad teeth" or other body parts, often insinuating that it is due to a person's laziness that they have bad teeth or "belly fat" , etc . They are very un-edifying commercials to hear and John & Ken should know better given the amount of time they spend on the news shaming others for their lack of ethical behavior. You can sell a product promoting good health without making people feel as if everything about their personal health & looks is a matter of their responsibility or lack of. Sometimes there's genetics, medical issues, etc. It's partially old-school blaming victims for being victims.

I will begin with one that CONTINUES to annoy me on the radio: It's an ad by a social worker named Janet Lehman which begins with her stating in a monotone, motherly voice "I will never forget the day my son Jeremy told me he hated me and slammed the door in my face....Hi, I'm behavorial therapist Janet Lehman ..." . 

There's SOMETHING about her tone of voice, the way she speaks, and the repeated number of times I've heard this on the radio that it makes me literally ILL and ANGRY when I hear it and I JUMP to switch the station ! I've even noticed a few other blogs online saying the same thing...it apparently annoys more than just me....maybe the ad works or resonates with some mothers who have problems with their children, but for me it is just simply annoying. Janet, if you read this, can you PLEASE CHANGE YOUR AD ?! You may be causing more people to feel the emotion "hate" every time they hear this ad. Please, do us all a favor and think of a new strategy for getting customers and we will all LOVE YOU and our MOMS FOR IT !
